Entering Chiron's Cave

It is through our imperfections that our deepest gifts begin to reveal themselves.

What if your wound is not your problem?

Chiron teaches us that your wound is not a mistake, nor does it need to be resolved, erased or overcome. Your wound is a lens that offers you a unique view, an intelligence that connects you to your Soul purpose.

What happens when you enter?

Chiron's cave is a held space where there is an opportunity to deepen your perception of your pain. It is a place that teaches you to see differently, to see beyond limiting judgments and ideals.

It's not a place to come to try and fix, but to learn to stay, unwavering, with what is already there.

Over the weeks, we will gather a rhythm that enables a perception shift. And as attention, time and practice is maintained, what is within you will become more familiar and more true.

A rhythm you can return to

The content in this container is based on cycles. Starting with the cosmic cycles and anchoring it down into the daily routine.

We meet together live throughout the week and resources are made available for you continue your practice solo.

There is not expectation to keep up, only that you keep returning to the process.

You’re welcome to join Entering Chiron's Cave at any point during the cycle.

You won’t miss anything as there is no specific starting point to catch.

The container is designed to meet you where you are when you begin.

This space is for you if:
  • You have been aware of a wound for some time now that hasn’t fully resolved or healed. You are beginning to sense how it shapes your identity, your relationships, your caregiving, your work, career, health, and perhaps even your spiritual orientation,

  • You feel a quiet pull to turn inward, rather than continue to move forward in the same way

  • You are drawn to embodied practices, breath, gentle rhythms, and stillness

  • You feel a resonance with story, myth, and astrology as ways of making meaning, and as a way of listening to what lives beneath the surface

  • You recognise that the wound may not be something to fix, but something to understand, and perhaps even learn from

  • You want to be held in a shared process, without pressure to perform, explain, or resolve yourself

This space is NOT for you if:
  • You hold the belief that getting rid of your wound will make you whole and fulfilled.

  • You are looking for a quick fix, a guaranteed outcome, or a way to move past what you are feeling

  • You want a high-intensity, cathartic, or emotionally confrontational experience that pushes for release or breakthrough

  • You are seeking therapy, crisis support, or clinical mental health care

  • You prefer structured programs with clear goals, metrics, or performance benchmarks

  • You are not available for a gentle rhythm, or would feel burdened by returning to something slowly over time

  • You are uncomfortable with uncertainty, or with entering spaces where the outcome is not known in advance

  • You are not open to staying in relationship with what is present, and would prefer to resolve or move beyond it quickly

It is intentionally slow, relational, and spacious.

More like entering a cave than reaching a destination.

This is not something you think your way through. You are guided into the cave, where what has been difficult to resolve can be met differently.

What Entering Chiron's Cave Container Includes:

1. Daily Live Morning Ritual

Begin each day in presence rather than pressure.

Join a live 30-minute guided practice at 6:30am (AEDT), led by Dr Vanessa Strauss on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

These sessions offer a steady, embodied way to meet yourself at the start of the day, and to set a gentle tone for what follows.

On the other days, you simply return to the recorded practice from the previous session allowing the process to deepen through repetition.

All sessions are recorded and available 30 minutes after end of the live class.

2. Mythic Threads Woven Across the Cycle

Story as orientation.

Across the cycle, we work with a small number of myths, including Chiron, that unfold alongside your own experience.

They are something you listen into, and return to over time.

Gradually, they begin to offer a language for what you are moving through, giving context and supporting integration.

3. A Shared Space Between Us

You are not doing this alone.

There is a private WhatsApp space for those in the container.

This is a place to stay connected, share reflections if you wish, and remain in the field of the work between sessions.

There is no pressure to participate.

4. Evening Integration Audio Practice

A way to close the day

You’ll receive a single guided evening practice to work with across the entire cycle. This practice is shaped in relation to the myths we are exploring, and is designed to be returned to each evening. Integration often continues through the night.

This practice offers a way of settling at the end of the day,

so that this process can unfold more naturally.

About the Facilitator

Vanessa Strauss is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, acupuncturist, and evolutionary astrologer with a long-standing practice supporting women through periods of transition, uncertainty, and re-orientation.

For over 20 years, she has been teaching yoga and meditation, and facilitating embodied practice spaces alongside her clinical Chinese Medicine practice and astrological work. Her approach brings together nervous system awareness, astrology, myth, and lived experience, with an emphasis on containment, presence, and deep listening.

In 2019, Vanessa facilitated an extended online program, The Path to You, which held a group of 22 women in a shared container over two years. The program wove together regular sharing circles, a dedicated online forum, monthly myth and astrological teachings, and home-based practices designed to support integration over time. This long-form work deepened Vanessa’s experience of what it truly means to hold people through sustained transformation.

Across all of her work, Vanessa is recognised for her grounded presence, deep listening, and the quality of holding she brings to every encounter. Clients describe spaces that feel safe, supportive, and expansive, where they are able to slow down, listen inwardly, and access clarity and empowerment even during periods of significant change. Through healing sessions, ritual gatherings, and shared practice, Vanessa’s presence supports people in reconnecting with themselves, their strength, and their own inner guidance.
